TREM Football Academy Holds Free Soccer Clinic


The Redeemed Evangelical Mission Football Academy (TFA), will be organizing a one day free football clinic for secondary school students between the ages of 11-15 in Lagos State on the November 13, 2015, at the Nigerian Institute of Sports (NIS), National Stadium Surulere, Lagos.

Over 500 – 1,000 participants are expected at the one-day football clinic raeturing over 20 seasoned football coaches and 20 secondary schools for boys and girls in Lagos State.

According to a statement issued by the Co-ordinator of TREM Football Academy, Rev. Denis Kenkwo, during the one day free football clinic, each of the participating 20 schools in Lagos State are expected to come with TREM Football Academy Holds Free Soccer Clinic about 25 students.

He said the participating students would be exposed to various techniques and skills of basic football profession by seasoned coaches and ex-internationals.

The whole idea of the TREM Football Academy (TFA) was primarily to sharpen the raw skills of the football loving boys and girls, thereby improving on their ability to perform better and be able to maneuver opposing teams psychologically on the playing field during football tournaments, organisers explained.

The football clinic, it was learnt, is in collaboration with the Lagos State Football Association (LAFA) and with support from corporate bodies like Indomie, Peak Milk, Coca Cola and Julius Berger.
