NFF, Amodu Head On Collision Course

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Head of its Technical Directorate, Shuaibu Amodu, may be heading on a collision course following alleged discrepancy in his salary and unclear job specification. Amodu, it was learnt, was on N2 million a month salary while he was working on a project with the Edo State Government, but he has now been offered a monthly salary of N800, 000 by the NFF as the country’s technical director.

“Amodu claims there was an agreement he will be paid what he received in Edo State only for him to find out through his appointment letter that he will be on N800, 000,” a top source informed AfricanFootball.com The several times Super Eagles coach was said to have made his position on this matter very clear to the NFF.

Also, it was gathered that Amodu would want a clear definition of roles after it was announced that Super Eagles coachdesignate, Sunday Oliseh, and his foreign assistant Jean Francois Losciuto will design a five-year developmental programme for • Amodu Nigerian football.
