Joshua Willing To Wait For Fury

Anthony Joshua says he is hopeful there will be a world title on the line when the time comes for him to meet fellow British heavy weight Tyson Fury.

A fight between Olympic gold medal winner Joshua and current British champ Fury would be a huge showdown in Britain.

And there could be a world title at stake because Fury is in line for a world title shot against the reigning WBA, IBF and WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in the near future.

Meanwhile, the impressive Joshua will bid to make it 12 wins from as many fights as a pro when he fights Raphael Zumbano Love in Birmingham tomorrow, before stepping up in class against Kevin Johnson of America three weeks later.

The 25-year-old has his eyes on even bigger fights in the future and is willing to wait until Fury gets his world title shot before taking him on.

“I think Fury will vacate the British title,” said Joshua. “Or, if there’s a big fight for him, against a contender like myself, he might take it.”
