Andres Iniesta has played down suggestions that he does not see eye to eye with Barcelona boss Luis Enrique.
The Spanish midfielder was part of a Barca team that won La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey last season. However, Iniesta failed to score a single league goal and only started 19 of their 38 league matches.
It had been claimed that Enrique’s style of football does not suit Iniesta, but the 31-year-old has insisted that he is happy with his own performances and the team’s success.
“It is not true that I am suffering in Luis Enrique’s style of play,” Iniesta told Mundo Deportivo.
“In the end, you always have to find your place and feel well in a certain formation and I am able to continue doing just that.
