Nigeria international insists he is not a spent force
Lille of France and Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has said that he will not take pay cut to join Liverpool or any other club. He also affirmed that only assured regular playing time would persuade him to sign the dotted lines.
He said his present French club, Lille, have not become a permanent home, hence he is still open to move but insists it must be on above conditions.
“The truth is I will not be leaving Lille for any club, if I am not guaranteed of playing regularly and earning more money,” he said.
“I won’t take a pay cut to move to England just like some players do, I won’t do that. If I am moving, it has to be because I will play regularly.
The Nigeria international also gave another reason why he would rather remain in France, saying he and his family are settled there.
“I don’t like jumping into offers because it’s always very difficult when you change clubs. My family is settled in Lille and I am settled there. So it will take a guarantee of regular football and more money to move.”
