Chairman of Nigeria Premier League leaders, Chief Felix Anyansi- Agwu is confident his side will emerge champions for the seventh time in their history on Sunday when they face fellow title contenders, Warri Wolves in Aba.
The Aba landlords have won the league six times – in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2010.
He said they are primed to be champions, before the final day of the league insisting that they will beat banished Sunshine in Lagos.
“We are champions already, Anyasi said. Warri Wolves cannot spoil our fun. We are already celebrating our seventh title.”
“I want to assure Nigeria of undiluted football when we play Sunshine come November 15 in Lagos.
With only two games before the curtain comes down the elite league, Enyimba require a single point to wrap up their first title in five years at the expense of second-placed Warri Wolves.
Coincidentally, the two teams clash in a top-of-the-table clash with Enyimba at home.
Ahead of the Sunday clash, Enyimba leads the 20-team league log with 68 points from 36 matches, six points ahead of their closest rivals.
Wolves would thus be looking for nothing short than victory to ensure the title will be decided on the final day.
