Enyimba Chairman, Anyansi-Agu, Quits

Felix Anyansi-Agu has quit his Chairmanship position at Enyimba Football Club of Aba citing systemic pressure.

He announced his quit decision on Sunday after Enyimba was crowned winner of the 2015 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Anyansi-Agu, a member of the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been Enyimba Chairman, Anyansi-Agu, Quits the chairman of the Abia State government- owned Enyimba for more than a decade, during which the club became the first Nigerian side to win the CAF Champions League, formerly known as the African Champions Cup.

Enyimba won the Champions League back-to-back in 2003 and 2004 and have won many titles on the domestic scene including the league and the Federation Cup.
