Djokovic Happy Build Momentum

World No.1 Novak Djokovic is hoping the momentum gained from the China Open will lead to a successful Shanghai Masters.

Djokovic was triumphant in Beijing last Sunday as he eased past Rafael Nadal 6-2, 6-2 in the final and will now head to Shanghai for a second successive tournament.

The Serbian underlined his dominance in the game as he maintained his unbeaten streak at the China Open, extending his run to 29 matches.

Roger Federer and Andy Murray will be involved in this week’s Shanghai Masters and Djokovic expects a stronger challenge if he is to add another title to his ever-growing CV.

Djokovic said: “Well, I’m hoping definitely. I know the conditions are slightly different. I’m going to get a couple days of rest and practice and get ready.
