Alessandro Del Piero believes Juventus are ‘still in pole’ for the Scudetto race, but is intrigued by ‘big investments’ elsewhere. “Our League has had difficulties but last season we had three teams in the final stages in Europe,” Del Piero said.
“There’s work to be done on the problems in our football, there has to be a willingness to go deep and continue this Italian movement. “The season ahead, there has been a willingness to make big investments, there have been coaching changes, revolutions.
“Juventus are still in pole position, because they’ve won for the last four years, and have a solid structure. They moved quickly with buying and selling, and have clear ideas. “That said, there’s still time to see who will rival them for the Scudetto.”
