Striker Olanrewaju Kayode says his club have truly bounced back from a recent loss in the derby against Rapid Wien after he scored twice in a 5-1 win by Austria Wien over Mattersburg on Saturday.
“The goals and victory mean lot to me, as well and my teammates, as we have had to fight back after losing our last home game to Rapid Wien,” he declared.
“We are all excited.” Austria Wein are third on the league table with 10 points from five games. The former Nigeria youth international scored on the 42nd minute to give his team a 2-1 lead and sealed the victory with the fifth goal in the 90th minute.
“I feel so excited to score my first brace here. I am looking forward to score as many goals as I can to help my team achieve success,” he said.
