I had Premonition Of My Husband’s, APC Crisis –Mrs Fayose..

The wife of Ekiti state governor, Mrs. Feyisetan Fayose, at the weekend revisited what she has now become popular for: predicting with deadly accuracy events that would happen in the life of her husband as governor of the state.

At the Deeper Life Church camp ground yesterday, the first lady of the state said that she had a premonition of the political crises that rocked the state in the last few months occasioned by the feud between her husband and the governor of the state, Ayo Fayose and the former 19 APC lawmakers in the state House of Assembly since November, last year.

The couple spoke yesterday at the Deeper Life Campground, Ado Ekiti, during a thanksgiving service for the victory of the governor and the newly inaugurated members of the state House of Assembly. Mrs Fayose, who was giving a testimony, recalled that God revealed to her in a dream that the state would pass through a turbulent period in March and April but with an assurance that He would not abandon them. She said: “In the dream, God told me that March and April will be stubborn.

He said that we should get prepared for it. But God promised to see us through and he did.” She has hardly finished when many in the congregation made mental notes of what has become the many predictions of the first lady, many of which have come to pass in the life of her husband. In fact, her revelation may have left something unsaid about the first couple recently. For early in the year, the first lady had drawn the ire of her husband when she blurted publicly, a fresh prediction in which she said, rather bluntly, that her husband may not complete his second term as the number one citizen of the fountain of knowledge state.

Fayose who had been taken in over the years by his wife’s accuracy in predicting events in his life reportedly took unkindly to this prediction, forcing his wife to seek temporary refuge in Ibadan, away from her angry husband. For a woman who had predicted correctly that husband would not complete his term as governor in 2003 and in 2006, the recent one that has just blown over was too many for the man to contain .

Mrs. Fayose who had again during her 50th birthday anniversary, foretold her numerous guests that her husband will return to the Government House in 2014, earned the respect of her Ekiti compatriots when the prediction came true. In fact what amazed many was that as at the time she made the forecast, her husband did not know if he would emerge the candidate of the party, not to talk of winning the election had little or no chance to emerge as the candidate of the party not to talk of winning the election by defeating the incumbent and popular APC Governor Kayode Fayemi.

In the dream, God told me that March and April will be stubborn. He said that we should get prepared for it. But God promised to see us through and he did

Many who saw them during the thanksgiving however immediately concluded that harmony has returned between the two first citizens of the state. Also, the governor said he had handed over the lawmakers to God for vengeance. The governor had at the inauguration of the 5th House of Assembly last Friday, described the seven months of his administration as challenging and “months of distractions” due to the feud between him and the former lawmakers.

The governor and the former 19 APC lawmakers in the assembly had been in a running battle shortly after the take off of the administration, which culminated in, the failed impeachment moves against the governor. Those at the service included government’s officials, newly inaugurated lawmakers, led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon Kola Oluwawole, traditional rulers, PDP leaders among others. The governor, while recalling the turbulent crisis, said he would not seek vengeance saying vengeance belongs to God. He said “I have handed them over to God, vengeance belongs to God.

I will not take vengeance. I dedicate the victory to God and the good people of Ekiti state who stood by me. Meanwhile, the PDP in the state has alleged that the APC has started planing another onslaught to make the state ungovernable for the governor. The PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr Jackson Adebayo in a statement on Sunday, said the APC strategic committee swung into action immediately the last impeachment move collapsed .

Jackson said “They have two factions, the Action Group being led by Senator Babafemi Ojudu and the other group being led by former APC governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi ; its only one of the groups that has set up a committee to draw up different options that can be facilitating crisis in the state so that the government could be distracted from pursuing developmental programmes that will continue make the governor to continue to enjoy the goodwill of the people of Ekiti State.”

“We will however like to remind them that all these unholy melodrama and devilish agenda cannot work against our party or the governor rather it will continue to put more sand on the coffin of the political fortune of APC in the state.” The PDP called on the security agents to keep the APC leaders on watch so that the state could be spared their unwarranted destabilisation of peace and tranquillity.
