El-Rufai Moves To Appoint More Non Indigenes

The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai is not leaving any stone unturned in his determination to secure favorable atmosphere to succeed President Muhammad Buhari in 2019 presidential election, investigation has revealed. Governor El-Rufai who was a Minister Federal Capital Territory (FCT) under President Olesegun Obasanjo regime is planning to appoint more non indigenes into political offices in Kaduna State to further strengthen the plans to actualize his 2019 dreams to become Nigeria President.

Mallam is also high and charged with the illusion and confidence that PMB has already tipped him as his successor to complete his tenure in 2019-2022, said a dependable source. The Union authoritatively learnt that the former controversial Director General (DG) Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) has already began to established diplomatic links with some powerful country’s agencies to get their support ahead of the time.

Many of the international countries who were promised big time contracts have already began to arrive Kaduna State of Nigeria almost immediately the governor resumed office. Appointment of non indigenes to head his media team and Investment promotions in Kaduna State are deliberate political strategies to also established necessary contacts toward his presidential ambition. Sources close to the governor told The Union that Governor El-Rufai has sent letters to a good number of community leaders in the state to nominate one person for appointment into his government, beginning with Igbo community leaders.

The governor had always used different excuses to expressed his deception without the residents knowing his true intentions in most fora. Addressing Kaduna residents during his maiden Town Hall Meeting recently, Governor El-Rufai said “we are saddened by the condition in which we found the state. But we shall never use that as an excuse for non performance. It is our duty to do our best always.

That is why we are finding creative, even if difficult ways, to deliver on our promises”. He also declared in a release recently issued by his media Assistant Samuel Aruwa that there would be no issuing if contracts to ‘Supper Politicians’ in Kaduna State as practiced by previous administrations.
