Don’t Abandon Buhari, South- West Women Tells Obasanjo

Women from the South-West of the Country yesterday appealed to former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo not to abandon the incoming President, General Muhammed Buhari, as he takes over power May 29,

The appeal came when the women led by Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief (Mrs.) Alaba Lawson visited him at his Hilltop residence in Abeokuta, adding that, the new government would need his wisdom and share from the knowledge of experience to implement for good governance.

Lawson further pointed out that he (Obasanjo) still have lot of work to be done for the betterment of the country as a former leader, just as the women lamented that the nation is presently experiencing agony from so many things which include; corruption, high crime rate, no electricity and fuel, noted that, the former should not leave Buhari alone to tackle all these problems confronting the nation.
