Yoruba Council Of Youths Passes Vote Of Confidence On NIIA DG

The leadership and members of the Yoruba Council of Youths (YCY), a coalition of various youths and students organizations in South-West Geopolitical zone and in the Diaspora has passed vote of confidence on Director General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Professor Bola Akinterinwa.

In a statement, signed by National President of the organization, Aremo Oladotun Hassan, the group commended Akinterinwa for his unprecedented landmark achievement and track records of excellence, integrity and patriotism and untainted diligence to service and unparalleled delivery of developmental prospects at the NIIA.

“We are indeed very proud of him as our father, mentor and trailblazer whose passionate drive and quest for developmental positive change is in consonance with the President Muhammadu Buhari’s change mantra and noble vision for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We hope to use this medium to further encourage and propel him not to be deterred by detractors and agent of provocation”, adding that he remains a detribalized true Nigerian and man of excellence, whose standard of humanity is pegged on merits and not nepotism.

“Based on this premise, we hereby unanimously pass a “Vote of Confidence” on Professor Bola A. Akinterinwa, as Director General of Nigerian Institute of International Affairs(NIIA).

We wish him greater achievements and successes in his future callings”, the group said in the statement.
