WAEC To Release Withheld Results

The management of the West African Examination council (WAEC) has decided that the results of the candidates of indebted states would be released in deference to all the appeals and the commitment of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum ( NGF).

The results according to Mr Charles Eguridu head of the Nigeria National Office of the West African Examination Council (WAEC ) during a press conference in Abuja , assured that the results will be uploaded on their results website in the next 24 hours. This decision is based on our wish not to impede the educational progress of any Nigerian child.

The chairman of the forum, His Excellency Alhaji Abdulaziz Yard, Executive Governor of Zambia state, said yesterday in Abuja that the forum will soon resolve the matter positively as soon as possible. “ We have decided to hearken to the appeals and review our earlier position.

More so, the continued withholding of the results will adversely affect the educational prospects of the affected candidates, as the results are even now required by many candidates for admission purposes,” Mr Eguridu said.
