UNIUYO Alumni Upholds Udofia As New Registrar

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) Alumni association has commended the appointment of Mr. Aniediabasi Daniel Udofia, as the new Registrar of the institution.

The National President, Prof. Gabriel Umoh, in a statement in Uyo, the State capital, expressed delight, noting that by this appointment, Udofia has made history by becoming the first Alumnus to rise to the top management cadre of the institution.

“This appointment demonstrates, once again, the sterling qualities that the great Tuskers (UNIUYO graduates) are made of”.

He, therefore, urged the new Registrar to deploy his wealth of experience in the task of developing his alma-mater.

Udofia, who hails from Obotim Nsit in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, was until the ratification of his appointment at the 74th Council meeting of UNIUYO, was the Deputy Registrar and Secretary of the Postgraduate School of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State
