The immediate past NorthEast interim National Vice Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Umar Duhu, has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stop the campaign of calumny against President Muhammadu Buhari.
Duhu, a former All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) chairman in the Federal Capital Territory told journalists that it was unfortunate that the spokesperson of the “failed party,” PDP, Olisa Metuh could condescended so low to the extent of forgetting so soon his party mismanaged Nigeria for 16 years.
“PDP ruled Nigeria for 16 years, a period where the country’s resources were stolen under the brazen daylight with impunity. This singular act of stealing with impunity, amongst many crimes of the PDP led government, has not only bastardized the nations resources and brought it to comatose, but brought hatred to Nigerian Nation before the international community and the friends of Nigeria.”
“President Buhari’s emergence as Nigeria’s President must indeed be celebrated as Blessings from God The Almighty. Buhari is the Messiah that we all have yearned for, rather than talking shamelessly from the both sides of the mouth, challenging the Will of God without recourse to the bad antecedents foisted on Nigerian by the PDP led government, we should support the president administration to deliver good to the majority poor,” Duhu said.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh had on Sunday released a statement, stating that President Muhammadu Buhari has done virtually nothing during his first 30 days in office.
