Pray For Nigeria, Obasa Urges Muslims

As muslim across the globe obey the fourth pillar of Islam and commences fasting for 29 to 30days, the House of Representative Member in Ojo Federal Constituency, Hon Tajudeen Obasa has urged muslims to pray for peace to reign in the country and obey the teachings of the Holy Quran in order to be guided with the do’s and don’ts of the season .

Speaking to Journalist, he said prayer is the last option in making the world peaceful and ensures Nigeria is free from terrorism, urging muslim clerics to pray for the nation as necessity during the holy month of Ramadan “The only criteria for development to be fasten in any environment is for peace to reign, with peace lives and property would surely be protected, He urges Nigerians not to succumb to despair, but to remain steadfast in the firm conviction that with courage, determination, focus, decisiveness and collective support for the security agencies the country will ultimately overcome the evil agents of sectionalism , sectarianism and international terrorism who seek to dis-unite the nation.

He said He warned those tagging Boko Haram with Islam should desist from such act because an Islamic organization won’t endanger the lives of the people.

“From the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW), it is clear on the expectation of a muslim group, don’t forget Arabic is a language like Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Spanish, Portuguese and others.

For an organization to write in Arabic doesn’t mean they reflect on the message of the Holy Quran. No need to drag it further, Boko Haram is a satanic organization”

He appreciated the effort of the security agencies in combating terrorism and urge the Federal Government as a matter of urgency to do the needful and ensure the welfare of those on the battle field are adequately taking care of to boost their morale.
