Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osun state chapter said it has embarked on reconciliatory moves aimed at resolving the crisis within its fold.
State Chairman of the party, Hon. Soji Adagunodo, who made this known to newsmen in his office Wednesday, said the party has already called for a stakeholders meeting where all aggrieved members would come to a round table for discussion.
“We are not having crisis in PDP; what is happening is not a new thing. It is in APC and other parties as well, it is just a family affair and I am happy to say that we are now one under one umbrella”, he said.
Adagunodo, however commended efforts by the party’s leadership in the state, and outside, in their bid to reconcile and address grievances of the aggrieved members in the aftermath of the recent primaries.
He then called on both the leadership and the aggrieved parties to endeavour to resolve their differences in the interests of peace and advancement of the party.
The Osun PDP Chairman, who has embarked on a thank-you tour, of all the local government areas also charged people of the state to demonstrate their support and cooperation for the party.
Adagunodo used the medium to felicitate with all Muslim members of the party in the state on the Eid-el-Kabir festival coming up next Monday.
