Ayorinde urged residents and visitors to the State to be conscious of their environment and report promptly any unusual movement, abandoned objects, packages and strange faces in their neighbourhood to security agencies as security personnel have been put on alert throughout the State.
While urging Lagosians to celebrate the Easter in moderation, the statement also advised citizens to avoid, as much as possible, walking alone at night, especially on deserted streets.
While wishing Lagosians a happy Easter celebrations, Ayorinde reiterated the Akinwunmi Ambode administration’s commitment and capacity to go after, and suppress any act of criminality in any part of the State.
