Buhari Support Organization (BSO) Kogi state Central Senatorial District chapter has admonished the President -elect General Muhammadu Buhari not to be deterred by the current scarcity of fuel and electricity in the country, saying Nigerians are solidly behind him to succeed in his quest to transform the nation.
The leader of the group, Hajia Khadijat Aliu Akpata who gave the admonition yesterday during the inauguration of its newly elected executive of the group in Okene the headquarters of the district said the people have resolved to support General Buhari to use his experience as the former head of state to urgently address the critical and salient issues that affect the country in the last 16 years.
According to her, the current scarcity of fuel, lack of power supply and the dearth of other basic social amenities would only serve as an area of concentration to the incoming government.
While calling on the President -Elect to be firm in attending to the problems his administration will inherit from the outgoing government, the BSO leader called on Nigerians to devote their time in praying for the new government to succeed.
According to her “ what this new government need now is fervent prayer form Nigerians, the problems awaiting General Buhari and his team is enormous and the only way he can succeed to achieve the desire of the people is through daily prayer.
“ Even the outgoing President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan attested to the fact that Buhari need prayer more than him because of the avalanches of unsolved problems the incoming government will encounter” .
While commending the incoming first lady of the nation , Hajia Aishat Buhari for her motherly role during the struggle for APC to win Presidential election, the group pledged their support to the office of the first lady.
