Concerned about the unity and future of the country, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has urged the incoming President, Gen.Muhammadu Buhari, to give a sense of belonging to every part of the country.
Uduaghan gave the charge over the weekend shortly after delivering a lecture at the University of Ibadan,Ibadan,and the Oyo State capital.
The governor emphasized that every part of the country must have the sense of belonging in terms of distribution of appointments,development and empowerment.
He maintained that giving a sense of belonging to all is critical, saying without that the country might go back to the crises it avoided.
“The most important thing the incoming President must do is to make every part of the country to have a sense of belonging. It is very critical. He must give that kind of sense of belonging Ib term of distribution of appointments,development and empowerment. Without that we might be going back to crises we avoided”, Uduaghan said.
