President Muhammadu Buhari and other Nigerian politicians should unit for the purpose of delivering good governance to the nation, said the national Chairman, Council of Ulama Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir.
Jingir made this assertion in Jos, while delivering a speech at the group’s three day, 22nd annual national seminar, themed: “Qualitative leadership exalts a nation,” held at the conference hall of JIBWIS Science Secondary School, Jos-Zaria Road. Jingir said now that Allah has answered the prayer of Nigerians and had helped in bringing the desired change in leadership, resulting from the unity, what is left now is for the “President, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and others to unit and ensure that good governance is delivered to Nigerians.”
According to him, Nigerians suffered untold hardships during the past administration, hence the voting in of the present administration, with the hope it will make Nigerians live a better live. “A lot of things have spoiled over the years, and they cannot be fixed in just one day, therefore I am urging all Nigerians to be patience and accord the government all necessary supports,” said the cleric. Jingir called on Nigerians to; “pick their hoes and get back to farm,” while also charging them to pursue genuine education, without which he said no society, community and nation would make progress.
