The Senate yesterday condemned Friday’s twin bomb attacks in Kuje and Nyanya areas of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
This followed a motion by the Minority Whip, Philip Aduda (PDP FCT), who said that the attacks were fresh calls for increased security consciousness and equipment ofthe military.

It also urged relevant security agencies to increase their intelligence gathering and embrace new technologies of combating terrorism, including bomb detection.
Also, the Senate commiserated with the family of the late Olu of Warri and sent a four-member delegation to visit the bereaved family in Delta.
Members ofthe delegation comprised Sen. Adetunde Adeleke, Sen. Godwin Ugi, Sen. Danjuma Goje and Sen. Godswill Akpabio.
