Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has congratulated Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, on his appointment as the new Ciroman Kano and District Head of Nasarawa by Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi 11.
In a Press Statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Governor Bello described the appointment as timely, well-deserved and of direct significance to growth and development of Kano Emirate Council.
He also described the new Ciroman Kano as a man with impeccable pedigree who has been in the system and at the centre stage of promoting peaceful co-existence and cultural values of the people when he was Turakin Kano.
The Governor charged the new Ciroman Kano to remain loyal, steadfast and contribute to the objectives of the Kano Emirate Council so as to build on the legacies and foundation laid by past emirs in sustaining peace in the kingdom.

Governor Bello noted, with gratitude, the continued contributions of the traditional institutions in nation building especially in the sustenance of peace, crime control and sensitization of their people on government policies and programmes.
Until his appointment new Ciroman Kano was Turakin Kano and district head of Nasarawa.
Similarly, the governor has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Magajin Garin Kano and First Republic Minister of Defence, Alhaji Inuwa Wada at Dumirumilya Quarters, inside Kano city.
Governor Bello noted that as a member of House of Representatives in the first Republic and later Minister of Defense and Works, late Inuwa Wada has contributed immensely to the socio-political development of the country.
He extolled the good virtues of the deceased adding that he would always be remembered also for his decades of great service to the Kano Emirate Council in particular and the traditional institution of the north in general.
He also condoled the government and people of Kano over the demise of the elder statesman who was uncle to the former Head of State, General Murtala Ramat Mohammed.
“His words of wisdom and wise counsel will be great missed. ”.
The Governor prayed Allah to the grant the deceased eternal rest and makes Aljanna Firdausi his final abode.
Late Magajin Garin Kano, Alhaji Inuwa Wada who died last week Wednesday, at his residence after a protracted illness was age 98. He is survived by a wife, many children and grand-children.
