Bello, APC Stakeholders Urged To Resolve Crisis

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC has waded into the crisis emanating from the political appointments announced by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello since he took over the mounting of leadership in the state. It would be recalled that the appointment of the Head of Service, Secretary To the State Government, Chief Of Staff as well as his aides did not go down well with some influential members of the party in the state.

The forum in a statement issued and signed by the state chairman Alh. Isah Ndamaka urged all parties involved in the controversy over the appointment of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and other political appointments done so far by the present administration to bury their hatchets in the interest of the electorates and progress of the state, saying it is an appointment among many.

The chairman stated that the council believes that the appointment of the SSG was done in good faith and for the overall benefit of all residents in the state. He said the SSG appointed from the governors hometown is an accomplished and seasoned administrator who has not being found wanting and has no religious or tribal sentiment.

According to the statement, “ Governor Abubakar Sani Bello desires the support of everybody with the human face approach to issues since he assumed leadership of the state. “We therefore, call on all to put personal interest at abeyance so that the states’ interest will be at fore. We should be determined because the responsibility of bringing change lies with all of us.”

The chairman then called on Nigerlites to be patient on the appointment of the state executive council as the Governor is taking his time to give the state the best so as to achieve the desired change and feel the impact of struggles. Ndamaka further stated that it is based on the progressive believe of collectiveness that IPAC is organizing a lecture titled, Concept of Good Governance, Economic Challenges and achieving the Desired Change to be delivered by Bar. Solomon Dalung; so as to streamline the issue of good governance in the interest of the leaders and the led.
