They are to ply all other roads. State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Mrs.Uju Nwogu who disclosed the information to newsmen maintained that private and commercial motorcycles otherwise known as Okada are restricted from plying the Onitsha-Enugu and Onitsha- Owerri Expressways as well as the following designated roads: In Awka- Arthur Eze and Ziks Avenues ; In Onitsha- Awka road, Borromeo-Upper Iweka-Bridge Head road, Old and New Market roads and Oguta road; In Nnewi- Nnewi -Nnobi and Nnewi-Oba roads in Nnewi.

The commissioner however gave a standing order that motorcycle and tricycle operators who defy the directive would have themselves to blame as law enforcement agencies had been directed to ensure immediate and strict compliance .
