Residents Enlightened On FG’s N220billion Loan For MSME

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in collaboration with a private company, God’s Favour Agro Allied Nigeria Limited have sensitized residents of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, to increase awareness on how to secure AGRIC loans.

The Programme is being organized under the auspices of cooperative farmers, agro processors, industrialists, artisans, marketers, processors, tourists and producers on the N220 billion Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) loan of the Federal Government.

Speaking during the sensitization workshop recently in Abuja, the Coordinator and researcher on Agro Allied/ Agricultural matters, Prof. Abike Adesuyi said that FCT residents could only benefit from the MSME loan through proper packaging of their feasibility reports as well as proper organization of their loans.

She advised the residents to ensure that they obtain the loan and use it wisely and used it wisely to enable them repay as at when due. She disclosed that N220 billion loan has already been deposited in the CBN, to help agro-allied farmers and other business outfits in FCT to and the entire country to get the loan and grow their businesses.

Prof. Adesuyi appealed to the agro-allied farmers to co-operate with their coordinators and president of their various societies or cooperatives in order to enable them actualize their dreams.

She commended the federal government for releasing the fund to the CBN to enable Nigerian farmers benefit from it.
