American Power Conversion (APC) by Schneider Electric has announced winners of its Business Achievement Awards in the Home and Business Networks (HBN) and Enterprise and Systems (E&S) distribution category at the Schneider Electric Distributors’ Conference for Middle East and Africa (MEA) held recently in Budapest.
Top Nigerian distributors emerged winners of five awards. Technology Distribution Nigeria Limited won the award for Outstanding Distributor for West Africa. Coscharis Technologies Limited won Outstanding Performance of the Year for West Africa, HDF SAS won value added partner of the year for North West Africa and Mr Uche Nnadi of Technology Distribution Nigeria Limited won the Product manager of the year award for West Africa.
Commenting on the performance of the channels partners, APC by Schneider Electric Channel Distribution Manager, Oluwaseun Oloyede stated that he was delighted by the outstanding performance of Nigerian distributors among their contemporaries in the region. “This really is a confirmation of the potential of the Nigerian market. It is also obvious that new standards have now been set and there is no doubt that the next set of winners will do much more” He said. Responding on behalf of the awardees, the representative of Technology Distribution, Nnadi Uche noted that the award was an indication of effective support being provided by APC by Schneider Electric to ensure that their channel partners develop adequate capacity to deliver on every aspect of product and service distribution.
He used the occasion to also express his gratitude to management of Schneider Electric for providing an award platform to reward excellence in the Nigerian IT distribution sector. The APC by Schneider Electric distributors’ conference for Middle East and Africa, brings together all major channel partners of the HBN and E&S network, to share the current year business objectives, promote best practices, announce new product launch and reward best performing distributors of the precedent year. It also serves as an avenue for the reflection of the company’s channel partners’ business performance for 2014.
